Fireworks!

Twilight darkens,
curtain rises.
Enter skyward,
night surprises.
Roman candles
burst the scene
DASHING! FLASHING!
red, blue, green.
Comets scatter,
shatter, split.
Silver sizzles,
sparkles spit.
Gold tourbillions
steal the stage,
shooting stars
into a rage.
Oooh’s and ahhh’s
applaud the sky.
FLASH! BOOM! BANG!
